The Gateway of India is the most famous monument of Mumbai and is the beginning point for most tourists who prefer to explore the city. Gateway of India is a good historical monument built all through the British rule in the country. It used to be constructed as a triumphal arch to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai (then, Bombay). Gateway of India was once constructed at Apollo Bunder, a popular assembly place. It was once designed by means of the British architect, George Wittet.

Marine Drive is 3 km long stretch situated at the foot of Malabar Hill. The large crowd of people comes to this way for walking and watch the setting sun at dusk.
Juhu beach
