The Gateway of India is the most famous monument of Mumbai and is the beginning point for most tourists who prefer to explore the city. Gateway of India is a good historical monument built all through the British rule in the country. It used to be constructed as a triumphal arch to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Mumbai (then, Bombay). Gateway of India was once constructed at Apollo Bunder, a popular assembly place. It was once designed by means of the British architect, George Wittet.

Marine Drive

Marine Drive is 3 km long stretch situated at the foot of Malabar Hill. The large crowd of people comes to this way for walking and watch the setting sun at dusk.

Juhu beach

Juhu Beach is one of the most visited places in Mumbai.People from all walks of life come to this place to enjoy the sunset, play in the water and have the taste of street food like pav bhaji and bhelpuri.

Other places are  Colaba Causeway, Haji Ali Dargah, Sidhivinayak temple, Girgaum chaupatty, Elephanta Caves, Victoria Terminus, Bandra Worli sea link, Prince  of Wales Museum, Fashion street
